About us

At Blackbird, we cook what we love, and love what we cook.  We're your cozy-casual corner restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We make just about everything from scratch. Our menu changes frequently to showcase the best ingredients in their seasons, and to accommodate the fickleness of Mother Nature. But, we do have some cult classics that stick around or reappear seasonally, so you can count on our silly combination of comfort and surprise. 

Drawing on inspiration from childhood memories and our individual cultural histories, we use high quality ingredients and transform them into our versions of homespun classics. The end result is a hodgepodge collection of styles and flavors for you to mix, match, sample and share.  Pair it all with our ever-changing selection of handcrafted draft beers and food friendly wines, what's not to love?!

Three Things I Can't Live Without
(1) My baseball cap collection - all of my hats have a "P" on them.
(2) Portable bluetooth speaker.  Every cook in our kitchen has one, because we all like to listen to our own thing, which can get a little ridiculous.
(3) It's a Tie:  Ace Hardware - where else can you get canning supplies and cat food under one roof?  Cinco de Mayo Mercado - where else can you get pig's trotters and fresh tortillas under one roof?
